Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is very active on social media. He has a YouTube channel in which he regularly uploads content. Recently, he uploaded a reaction video to the Club Sumo I held in Jersey City on January 25, 2024. A clip of Bisping’s reaction to the Sumo Wrestling match went viral on social media.

It was Bisping’s surprise reaction to the result of the match between Brennan Morefield and Egypt’s Eslam Ebrahim that went viral. This is what Bisping said before the Sumo Wrestling match between Ebrahim and Morefield began.

He (Eslam Ebrahim) looks like a proper barbarian. He looks like a nasty piece of work. He looks like he could rip your head off and sh*t  down your throat if he wanted to. That's a gorilla of a man right there, my God. I'm kind of intrigued. I don't fancy the white diaper (Brennan Morefield). I don't fancy his chances much.

Bisping’s prediction for the fight went wrong. Despite his smaller size, Morefield easily defeated the larger, shredded Ebrahim. Nonetheless, a stunned Bisping said this after the Sumo Wrestling match ended.

You can't judge a book by its cover. I mean, I was talking out of my ass. I said he had no chance, I said he(Brennan Morfield) had no chance...He was good. Just goes to show, don't judge a book by its cover.

Ebrahim was a minus 240 favorite against Morefield, a minus 180 underdog. Nonetheless, the performance suggested otherwise. Michael Bisping became the UFC middleweight champion as a huge underdog. Bisping replaced Chris Weidman on weeks’ notice and knocked out Luke Rockhold to become the champion. Moreover, he made a single defense of his title before he lost it to Georges St-Pierre. Furthermore, Bisping earned a position in the UFC Hall of Fame for his accomplishments.
