Conor McGregor showed his son how to throw a KO punch in a video he posted on social media recently. Most of his online posts are perceived negatively and get a lot of negative feedback because of McGregor’s narcissism. However, McGregor often uploads wholesome videos of himself teaching his son basic boxing lessons in the gym or at home.

In the most recent video of McGregor teaching his son boxing, he can be seen inside a bedroom. Subsequently, in the caption of the post, McGregor stated that he is teaching his son Anthony Joshuas recent KO against Robert Helenius. The combination McGregor was teaching involved a jab at the head followed by a swift jab at the body. In addition, the combination ends with a backhand finish up top to the head, which is the KO punch.

Subsequently, McGregor also stated that a jab to the body followed by a backhand to the head is a very successful combination in boxing. The Notorious also stated that the combination is more effective when the opponent has the same fighting stance.

It’s safe to say that ‘The Notorious’ believes his son has the potential to succeed in combat sports if he chooses to pursue it. Hence, McGregor is slowly and steadily training and molding his son by giving him great insights into how to fight.

Conor McGregor has lost a lot of muscle mass

McGregor, the former two-time UFC champion, hasn’t competed in the UFC for nearly two years now. The last time he fought was in 2021 when he fought twice in a row and lost to a then-top contender, Dustin Poirier.

Since then, the Irishman has been working on his recovery and preparing to return to the Octagon. Subsequently, during his recovery, McGregor gained a lot of muscle mass. As such, many thought he was using PEDs.

These rumors were more widely believed by the MMA community because McGregor had exited the USADA testing pool. As the date of McGregor’s potential return to the Octagon approaches, the Irishman continues to shed weight.

Furthermore, MCGregor’s weight loss left fans wondering if the effects of his drug use had subsided. In addition, fans are also thinking about his return to the UFC and speculating as to the outcome of his upcoming potential bout with Michael Chandler.
