Recently, Misfits Boxing: “The Prime Card” took place at the AO Arena in Manchester, England. While the Misfits Boxing DAZN Pay-per-view Prime card saw chaos ringside, the backstage action was comparatively pleasant on Oct. 14. Former UFC contenders Mike Perry, and Darren Till came face to face once again. This time, however, it was on a friendlier note.
Inside, Perry and Till threw friendly jabs at each other and agreed to fight, facing off for the cameras. An approaching Perry joked about the other being his nemesis. He also warned him of being bigger in size now. The video has them embracing in a friendly composure, and mimicking fake jabs at each other.
The unique relationship between the two dates back to 2017, when they fought as welterweights in the UFC. Till had called out Perry after beating Donald Cerrone. This forced Perry to carry the charge, and he accordingly initiated a verbal warfare to promote their rivalry. Over the years they have had many such moments. Unfortunately, Till crossed the line in 2020, by lewdly commenting on the latter’s wife.
Since then they have had many such interactions. One-time welterweight contender Till was released by the promotion after a three-loss streak. He vowed to make a comeback to the promotion one day. On the other hand, Perry served as a backup fighter for Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis.

Longtime welterweight contenders and frenemies Mike Perry, and Darren Till met up during the Misfits Boxing KSI vs. Tommy Fury matchup. They had nice and friendly “face-off” of their own, as they pretended to jab at each other. Fans of the MMA world have reacted to the short interaction.
The two have always had a bittersweet dynamic. Moreover, they even had a hilarious interaction outside a UFC host hotel in 2018, where Till mistook an invitation to spar as an invitation to spa. They did end up sparring anyhow, with both having their versions of the event.
On Oct. 14, Perry was slotted as a backup to the Misfits Boxing Prime card co-main event in Machester. Serving as a backup fighter to Logan Paul facing Dillon Danis, he did not get a chance to fight in. Logan Paul won with a disqualification over Danis’ illegal drag-down and chokehold attempt in a boxing scenario.
