If you are a regular on the internet – that is, if you keep up to date with what’s happening online, one name, for sure, must have caught your eye in the last couple of months.
Andrew Tate can assert his claim to be one of the most popular figures on the internet this year after he went viral for his radical views on a host of topics. What people might know less about him, however, is that he is a former 4-time kickboxing world champion. He has a 76-9 record in kickboxing and was a mainstay in the ISKA (International Sport Kickboxing Association), one of the main kickboxing promotions based out of the United States.
As a fighter, undoubtedly, he has come across his fair share of famous athletes, and other celebrities. Now, a video has appeared on the internet confirming just this. In the said video, Tate can be seen sparring with British actor Idris Elba, of Luther fame. Speaking about sparring in the video, Andrew Tate said, “I am already a four time world champion, I am out here training in Thailand. Kieran Kettle knows that and has asked me to come and spar with Idris [Elba].“
He continued, “A lot of people think fighting is a game for tough guys, and I actually disagree. I actually think it’s for smart people.”
After a successful kickboxing career, could Andrew Tate make the transition to boxing?
Andrew Tate’s last outing as a professional fighter came in 2020. Since then, he has focused more on growing his empire, and in the process has left an imprint on the internet, and subsequently, continually grown his net worth.
Over the course of acquiring fame this year, he has also developed grudges against celebrities and other internet sensations. To name a few, Logan and Jake Paul, and KSI have all been issued fight warnings by the Briton who now resides in Romania. Having seen the success of YouTuber boxing, a big-money fight could absolutely be on the cards for Tate.

Andrew Tate faced off with Jake Paul at KSI’s MISFITS boxing event, suggesting that a huge fight could be on the cards.
