A lot of weird things happen in an MMA fight. There has not been a death in a mainstream MMA promotion, but hazardous incidents have happened. Many fighters have suffered brutal injuries in an MMA fight. Some have had dislocated bones, while others had their bones broken. Such fights have gone viral on social video. Recently, an MMA fight video went viral of a woman fighter who urinated after her opponent choked her out with a bulldog choke submission.
The fight was the co-main event of LFA 177 for the LFA women’s flyweight championship. Both female fighters, Shannon Clark and Thaiany Lopes, entered the fight undefeated. Nonetheless, in the bout’s second round, Clark sank in a bulldog chock and put Lopes unconscious. Unfortunately for Lopes, she urinated on the canvas as she lost consciousness. UFC flyweight Charles Johnson shared the moment on his social media. This is what he captioned the post.

Johnson provided a hilarious commentary on the freakish incident. However, the commentators at the event did not mention it. One of the commentators at the event was former UFC fighter and current analyst Alan Jouban. Like everybody who saw the video, the sight of the involuntary urination surprised Johnson.
Interestingly, Johnson was the male flyweight champion at LFA before he signed with the UFC. LFA has been a feeder promotion for the UFC, as many elite fighters have come from the regional promotion. Former two-time UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno is a former LFA flyweight champion. So was former UFC flyweight title challenger Brandon Royval.
Fight fans react as female fighter choked out an opponent to urinary accident
The LFA 177 co-main event flyweight title fight between Shannon Clark and Thaiany Lopes spread like wildfire on social media. It was due to the unfortunate incident of Lopes’ urination after Clark choked her unconscious. Fight fans had humorous reactions to the incident.
See how fight fans reacted to the video below.
Clark and Lopes had to fight for the title after UFC veteran Sabina Mazo vacated the flyweight title to compete at bantamweight. In addition to Mazo, several other female UFC fighters are alumni of LFA. Andrea Lee, Vanessa Demopoulos, Loopy Godinez, and Sam Hughes are among those.
