Mendez usually posts video of Khabib, and they always go back-and-forth with friendly banters, Mendez recently posted a video from his Instagram account, and he scolded Khabib for using phone while being in the gym.

Khabib was apparently using phone in between practice, and Mendez was quick to shoot the whole incident. Mendez called Khabib an “Instagram gangster” and he blamed me for interrupting their session. The whole situation turned into a laughter stock, but we are just glad we got see these two together. Both of them are currently helping Islam Makhachev prepare for his fight against Islam Makhachev.
Thei main motive is to bring the lightweight belt back in the camp, and Mendez predicted that Islam will win this belt by the end of this year. In his interview with Helen Yee, he said, In a perfect world, Islam Makhachev is gonna win his fight and he is going to win the title.”
