The Egyptian king rarely fails to impress. Ever since his move to Liverpool, Mohamed Salah has defined an era in the competition.

His spectacular performances under Jurgen Klopp earned him a Premier League title, a UCL and many other domestic accolades. However, as Klopp prepares to leave the club, Salah has ‘vowed’ to not leave the fans stranded.

Salah is undoubtedly one of the best players in the League and ranks very high up when it comes to an all-time ranking. The forward has scored an impressive 18 goals and set up another 10 for his teammates in the Premier League. In Europa League, Salah has 5 goal contributions from 9 appearances.

Despite aiming to give the ‘perfect farewell’ for Klopp, Liverpool finished third in the PL and were eliminated by Atalanta in the Europa League quarterfinals. Salah’s comment felt like a breath of fresh air for fans after the recent ‘disagreement’ between the two and rumors surrounding Salah’s departure.

After nine years at the helm, the time has finally come for Jurgen Klopp to bid farewell to the crowd at Anfield. Almost a month prior to his departure, rumors had broken that Arne Slot is set to replace Klopp following his departure. Once the move was finalized, fans have been buzzing with excitement.

As Klopp bid farewell to the home fans one last time, the German managed to turn the gloomy occasion into a cheerful one. After enjoying the roar of the crowd one last time for his iconic fist pumps, Klopp took the mic to welcome Slot in the most welcoming of ways. Singing to the tune of a popular song, Klopp chanted ‘Arne Slot, la la la la la’ and the crowd sang along.

Fans were full of praise for Klopp for giving Slot the best possible welcome and for taking a lot of the pressure off his shoulders. A supporter added that it was a gesture that totally summed up the man’s character.

Klopp won his final game in charge of the club 2-0 against Wolves. Goals from Jarell Quansah and Alexis Mac Allister helped Liverpool to finish third behind Arsenal and Manchester City.
