Mohamed Salah is the best in the business as far as Liverpool are concerned. Despite playing just seven seasons in the Premier League, the Egyptian boasts some of the best numbers ever recorded for a player in his position. However, the departure of Jurgen Klopp and the failure to make any significant signings may drive the player away from Anfield.
That being said, Salah is back for pre-season and looks as fit as ever in training. Shirtless clips of the player have fans awestruck as he showed off his chiseled physique and eight-pack. After sporting his iconic messy hairdo for several seasons, Salah has resorted to a buzz cut for the new season under Arne Slot. The 32-year-old was one of Liverpool’s best players last season, even though a late slip up cost them the Premier League title.
Fans are hoping for a repeat of last year from the winger after he scored an impressive 25 goals while setting up another 14. As it stands, Salah is a Liverpool player, even though the club will have to admit the reality he will not be in a season or two.
Salah will partner up with Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota up front unless Liverpool make a significant signing in the remainder of the summer transfer window.
Fans in disbelief after 32-year-old Mo Salah shows off his physique
Mohamed Salah is one of the best wingers to have played in England’s top flight. The Egyptian king’s physique ahead of the 2024/25 season made a fan state that he is ready to boss the Premier League once again. Another added that having a body like his at 32 is one of the biggest flexes ever. While many looked at the positives, a fan felt worried about where Liverpool would have been without the former AS Roma man.
A fan even compared his body to that of something made out of marble. A few added that only Cristiano Ronaldo and a select group of players could pull of something like that. After an unimpressive finish to Klopp’s farewell season, fans understood that Salah was in no mood to let things slide in what looks like the final years of his career at Liverpool.
With his contract expiring at the end of the 2024/25 season, fans also expressed concerns about who the club could possibly sign to make up for his departure. Even though names like Harvey Elliott and Michael Olise were thrown around, none seemed to strike a chord with the fans. Ultimately, fans admitted that the Egyptian is a once-in-a-lifetime player and that they were lucky to sign him in 2017.
