Apart from a few grey hairs, Jim Miller continues to prove ageless. Sporting the more stubby rugged look, Miller is warring up in full force. At UFC 309 LIVE on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside the MSG, ‘A-10’ Miller won his 27th fight. During the frame, he also brought some attention to some vital domestic tidbits, with president-elect Donald Trump in the vicinity. As out-of-pocket it is – it is to do with the ‘Peanut The Squirrel’ controversy.
On November 1, Mark Longo, the owner of the Instagram-famous squirrel, Peanut or P-Nut, informed his pet was euthanized. Along with his pet raccoon “Fred”. Afterward, Congressman Nick Langworthy took to X to shed light on frustrations of misappropriation of resources by State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance also addressed a North Carolina rally on the misaligned government priorities. Now, so does Jim Miller.
To come into somebody’s home and tear it apart. And when…and when they – you know, when the government sends armed people to your house, they’re okay with you dying…It’s not even necessarily about the squirrel, it’s… it’s about the utilization of tax payer money. And, ..and, and resources. Those resources…they used on a fu*king squirrel – could’ve been used in a better way

The ‘Peanut The Squirrel’ issue has become one for ages. With shades of media ban and misuse of resources by the administration, all eyes are on three-time Republican candidate and GOP Nominee Donald Trump. Just weeks after becoming president-elect in the U.S. for the second time, UFC CEO Dana White flanked him in yet another walkout at UFC 309. Walking out to Kid Rock’s “American Badass,” it’s become a common visual to spot.

Hence, Miller took up the time to address the ‘Peanut The Squirrel’ issue. Subsequently, he has the voice to. At UFC 309 pay-per-view (PPV), Miller (38-18 MMA, 27-17 UFC) submitted Damon Jackson with a gilly at 2:44 mark of Round 1. Like Jackson, Miller’s tenure has seen many fighters come and go. Now, with 45 fights under the belt, he is here to stay and do the important deeds.
50 at 40: Jim Miller plans ‘hard’ pause after 50 UFC fights
After the fight at UFC 309, Jackson left his gloves in the center to signal his intentions. But Jim Miller plans to go long and strong. Miller’s roll hasn’t really slowed down despite being 41 years old with 45 UFC fights under his belt. He’s won three of his last four outings. Saturday’s fight saw him bounce back from a April UFC 300 pay-per-view loss to King Green.

With the win, Miller extends the UFC promotion’s record for the most wins (27), second-most finishes (19) and submissions (13). Miller’s total fight time of 6:47:47 in UFC lightweight competition was perhaps, the most even imaginable. Concurrently, this is not where the Team Sussex County MMA fighter wants to pause.
If I could get to 50 fights in the UFC – it’s another five after this one – I think it’s doable…It’s going to be tough, But doable. 50. You guys can hold me to that. … I’m ready to move on to other stuff

G.O.A.T. Jon Jones led the UFC 309 UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payouts with a champ pay of $42,000 and bonus. Jim Miller, with his $21k promotional compliance pay, did not receive a performance add-on for his “silly gilly”; that too at this age. He plans to end it all with some spectacular and more undeniable performances.
Miller’s 27 victories in UFC competition are msot in company and definitely three more than anyone at lightweight. His 15 fight-night bonuses for UFC lightweight bouts match some of the biggest PV draws in the sport. If the veteran southpaw can stretch it a few more to a neat 50, record books would have him up there for more than just ages.
