The Bloodline saga has undoubtedly been the focal point of WWE since 2020. As such, it comes as no surprise that several stars have fought against the faction over the years. The story has affected many members of the roster, including Kevin Owens, who recently turned heel due in small part to The Bloodline. Along with Owens, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford, The Street Profits have also feuded with different versions of the group.

Recently, Ford spoke in detail about his battles with the stable and teased going in the same direction as Owens. During an interview with the Daily Star, the SmackDown star acknowledged his longtime rivalry with The Bloodline. Moreover, Ford claimed that it had become frustrating to the point that he and Dawkins might follow The Prizefighter’s footsteps.

In their most recent fight, The Street Profits failed to claim the Tag Team Titles against the faction in a ladder match. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins had feuded with the group since May, losing almost every battle along the way. Prior to this, the duo competed in a riveting series of matches against The Usos in 2022. Therefore, the former Tag Team Champions might tap into their darker side to finally take down The Bloodline.

I’ve been the one doing it. I’ve been the one trying to fight off this disease. Me, Dawks, and occasionally Kevin Owens. You seen what happened to Kevin Owens recently, he’s a little frustrated. I feel like I’m on the verge of becoming the same way.

Meanwhile, Owens himself has similarly fought and faced different variations of the group, failing to win any major title. This year, KO helped Cody Rhodes in his feud against Solo Sikoa and co. Therefore, he felt betrayed when Rhodes teamed up with former leader Roman Reigns at Bad Blood. Owens finally snapped following the show, as he attacked The American Nightmare in the parking lot.

Kevin Owens to face Randy Orton at WWE Crown Jewel

Amid Kevin Owens’ issues with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton became collateral damage. On the SmackDown episode after Bad Blood, Owens ambushed Orton backstage. KO felt that the latter had chosen sides when he punched him earlier in the night.

In the weeks that followed, there was a lot of ambiguity surrounding Owens’ WWE future. The former Universal Champion threatened to walk out if higher-ups didn’t allow him to explain his actions. Meanwhile, Orton demanded a match against his former tag team partner at Crown Jewel. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis refused, alluding that the decision lay in the hands of Triple H.

Hence, Orton called out his former rival on Friday’s episode. Despite the WWE CCO’s concerns, Orton relentlessly asked for the shot. As a result, The Game finally granted him the bout at Crown Jewel before warning him about the repercussions.
