It’s been confirmed that Jack Miller will not be a Ducati rider next season as he has agreed to ride for KTM next season. This looks the best option for both the parties as neither of them was happy with each other’s performances and that definitely did reflect on the track. There were rumors that Ducati was looking for a replacement within the team because of Jack Miller’s average performances.

This decision by Jack Miller comes at the back of a really frustrating race in Catalunya where he struggled to find any sort of grip and eventually finished P14 after qualifying eleventh. The Australian described it as a shithouse race. While Fabio Quartararo was comfortably clocking some serious lap times, Jack did even have a lap under 1.41 to show for his efforts.

It was clear that Ducati rider needed a different challenge for him to showcase his talent. KTM looked like the best available option which would reunite with his old boss. It’s been confirmed that the Australian will join KTM for a two year long deal. Despite all of his troubles this season, Jack Miller doesn’t have any sort of regrets in his time at Ducati.

The Australian made it clear that it was the best five years of his racing career. In his recent interview, he said, “Together with the Pramac Racing Team and the Ducati Lenovo Team, I have grown a lot as a rider and year after year, I have always felt like the best version of myself.”

“It’s been a really important five years for me: together with Ducati, I’ve achieved several podiums, including two wins that I’ll never forget.”

“Next year I will take on a new challenge, but right now, I want to think only about finishing this last season with my team in the best possible way,” as reported by crash.

Jack Miller might be going on different journey next year but it’s pretty clear that his time at Ducati has helped him grow as a rider and will help him in his new ventures in MotoGP or wherever he decides to go after that.
