Valentino Rossi has been everything for MotoGP, starting from being the poster boy to being an icon of the sport. But the journey of the world champion. He has had to break stereotypes during his journey to becoming a mega star in racing. The city of his birth, Tavullia is a complete stranger to racing and becoming a racer was never encouraged.
But Valentino Rossi had some other thoughts in his mind as after a little hesitation decided to take on the challenge as he has done throughout his career even when he has come out to be the second best. That has never stopped the ‘Doctor’ to take on the challenge head on.
This also can be attributed to his father who has been a rock throughout his life along with his mother who have always been his biggest supporters and people whom he could fall back on in a situation of adversity which is part of sport and life, too.

Graziano Rossi, who himself was a racer, had that passion for the sport which helped Valentino immensely. He developed that passion for the sport because he spent much time with his father and eventually it became contagious to Rossi and like any father, he saw Rossi fulfilling his unfulfilled dream. While his father was more passionate, his mother was more reasonable.

And, looking back, Rossi had to deal with two different parents’ views. Although Graziano was an eccentric hippie, his mother’s dream of forming Rossi was much more rational and normal.“
“Generally Stefania’s dreams are considered more honorable and reasonable. Stefania, who works as a surveyor for the local parliament, hopes that her son will grow up to be an engineer or an architect, both professions that were then highly respected in Italy, as in other places.”
But the difference in the personality of the two parents didn’t make Rossi indecisive, instead he learned the best of both the worlds and used that in his journey to success. Valentino Rossi has stamped his authority on MotoGP and has put the city of Tavullia on the map in the process. This inspiring journey proves that balance and consistency can take you to the top no matter who you are and where you come from.
