Jack Miller’s name has become synonymous with the sport of MotoGP simply because he holds extensive love for it. The factory Ducati driver has a larger than life personality that shines through every time he is on the tracks. The Australian rider awaits some big news about his future as his Ducati contract gets over at the end of the 2022 season.
Now, Jack Miller will join a host of fellow riders who are out hunting for a seat in MotoGP for the next season. As the European countries are up next for hosting the next few races of MotoGP, Miller knows it is a now-or-never situation for him if he wants a seat in the highest league of motorsport in 2023.
Two other riders who are yet to sign a contract are Enea Bastianini, who currently drives for Gresini Racing MotoGP Team, and Jorge Martin from Oramac Racing. Bastianini has already won two races this season, so his future is safe in the game and so is Jorge Martin’s, as he has been a two-time pole-sitter in Qatar and Austin, and has also secured a podium in Argentina.

While Bastianini and Martin are potential bets for the factory seats, it leaves Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller, alongwith a few sophomore riders, to go for the other factory seats. Bagnaia has already renewed his Ducati Lenovo contract, so it leaves Miller with the young riders to contest for the last remaining seat.
Now, fans speculate if Miller will have to return to Pramac next season of he loses out on the factory seat. On being asked about this, he said, “I wouldn’t care. As you can tell, the bikes are all good. They’re fantastic. I’m just here to ride my motorbike and do the best I can. That’s all. If I get a job next year with Ducati, it is what it is. I’d be more than happy to stick around. I love the group I’m with. As I said, I’m just focused on this year. Focused on trying to do the best job I can do.“
As of now, Jack Miller is at the seventh position in the Championship table, 30 points away from Bastianini, who’s P1. Only four races have happened till date and there is more to come. What does future have in store for the Australian driver? Only time will tell.
