After racing for three seasons in the premier class of MotoGP with a Honda RC213V, Spanish rider Alex Marquez has gone on to agree a deal with Gresini Racing and will join their squad for the 2023 MotoGP season. This indirectly means that he will be shifting manufacturers and will be hopping aboard the Ducati Desmosedici which will be a totally new bike for him to test out and discover it’s abilities.
As seen before, Ducati seems to have the most competitive bike on the grid and is commandeered by eight different drivers. During an interview, the Spanish rider refused to give comments on the expectations that he has or hasn’t set before riding on the Ducati. Although Alex Marquez talked about his first impressions of the bike by saying how versatile it was and that the current LCR Honda rider thinks that it will be a great opportunity for him.
