Alvaro Bautista unsure who the crowd favourite will be for the coveted ‘Race of Champions’

World Ducati Week
The 11th edition of the World Ducati Week will take place from 22nd to 24th July at Misano where a total of 21 Ducati Riders will compete in front of Ducati riders and fans who are attending. MotoGP rockstars Francesco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, Jorge Martin, Johann Zarco will compete along with WorldSBK rider Alvaro Bautista and many more.
The machines that will be used for all the competitions are the Panigale V4 S and the V2. All the 21 Ducati riders will have their own custom livery on their bikes. When asked about who the favourite will be this weekend, Alvaro Bautista said that most of the ducati riders do track sessions with their own Paningales so that makes him unsure about who the favourite will be. “I don’t know who is the favourite but I know that the Italian riders are testing, testing, testing with the Panigale,” says the Spaniard.

“I think for many of the Italian riders this is the race of the year. Also, it doesn’t matter the championship because it’s like ‘ahh race of the year for Ducati’, and they have to be prepared for that.
“I just go there to have fun and to stay with the Ducatisti. Let’s hope I can race because I will have a check on my hand to see if it’s something serious.”
With neither MotoGP nor WorldSBK happening this week, the World Ducati Week is going to be a festival that one won’t forget. The Race of champions is going to be filled with drama, thrill and action we predict.
