During the weekend of 19-21st August, fans of MotoGP will have their eyes glued to the TV for the 13th round of this year’s  MotoGP 2022 Championship. After an enthralling Grand Prix at Silverstone, all the motorsports enthusiasts are expecting this week’s MotoGP race to be a hair-raising affair. Ducati Factory team rider Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia fought off a late charge from Aprilia’s Maverick Vinales to win the 2022 Monster Energy British Grand Prix. 

After 20 exciting laps in Silverstone, Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia managed to hold off Maverick Vinales until the very last lap in order to win the 2022 British GP. Silverstone never disappoints and here we got to experience another instance as to why such is the case. Injured Aleix Espargaro still participated in the British Grand Prix to the surprise of everyone and managed to finish in the points in P9. Title rival Fabio Quartararo had a disappointing weekend and just managed to finish ahead of Espargaro. This increased the lead between both the riders by just a point.

The Austrian MotoGP round, about to begin at the home of the Bulls which is the Red Bull Ring. It  has always been one of the most anticipated events in MotoGP for many fans. As of now, the World Championship standings say that Fabio Quartararo is heading the list with 180 points, followed by Alex Espargaro who has 158 points. The third place in the rankings goes to Pecco Bagnaia  who has 131 points to his name and has won the past two races.
