Enea Bastianini and Alex Marquez

Enea Bastianini is having an impressive campaign so far with the highlight being winning the season opening race in Qatar a few months back. He is currently placed 5th in the championship standings with 105 points to his name. With a probable move to either Pramac of the Factory Ducati team, the Italian rider won’t be competing with Gresini Racing next year. Alex Marquez will be moving up from LCR Honda to Gresini Racing for the 2023 season.

Ever since he won the 2019 Moto2 title and got bumped up to MotoGP, it just hasn’t been the same with the rider constantly failing to achieve consistency in delivering great results. Enea Bastianini thinks that this will change next year when the Spaniard joins his ex outfit.

Alex Marquez is currently placed 18th in the world championship standings with 27 points to his name. With the second half of the season still remaining, Honda’s progress will determine where the Spaniard will end up after the season finale. His move to Gresini already solidified, outgoing rider Enea Bastianini is more than pleased to assure Marquez that he will be in good hands next year.
