With the MotoGP summer break ongoing, the riders get the chance to relax and enjoy their vacations. Fabio Quartararo has been making the most of this free time with his Yacht trip and now his appearance at the French Grand Prix supporting Mercedes. Being a French Rider it’s a great experience for him to get a taste of Formula one action and support his fellow French racers Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. The Yamaha MotoGP rider also got to sit in the Mercedes F1 track beast and get a feel of how it’s like to race from the perspective of a F1 driver.

Mercedes had an amazing race in France with both the riders finishing in the podium places. Lewis Hamilton finished P2 behind Max Verstappen and George Russell grabbing the last podium place from Checo Perez. This meant all round celebrations in the Mercedes garage.

The Yamaha MotoGP rider has been having a tough but fruitful season with the rider currently leading the MotoGP world championship with a small gap to Aleix Espargaro of 21 points. MotoGP break will get over next month with the start of the second half of the season commencing from the Silverstone GP. The French rider will be serving a long lap penalty for his actions in the Dutch GP.
