During the weekend of 13-15th May, fans of MotoGP will have their eyes glued to the TV for the 7th round of this year’s all-new MotoGP 2022 Championship. After a thundering Grand Prix at Jerez in Spain, all the motorsports enthusiasts are expecting next week’s MotoGP race to be a hair-raising affair.

In Jerez, Francesco Bagnaia had a glorious victory after fending off repeated attacks from the reigning World Champion Fabio Quartararo throughout the length of the race. While Bagnaia’s emphatic win was met with amazing wishes from all his fans, Quartararo’s supporters want the French rider to add yet another race win to his name in the French Grand Prix, after his victory at the Portuguese MotoGP race in Portimao.

As of now, the World Championship standings say that Fabio Quartararo is heading the list with 89 points, followed by Alex Espargaro who has 82 points. The third place in the rankings goes to Alex Rins who has 69 points to his name. From the charts, it is quite clear that anyone from the top 5 can turn the tables and start leading the Championship standings if they grab the race win in France.
