With his future still uncertain, LCR Honda Rider Takaaki Nakagami will come to Silverstone with no idea if he will be racing in MotoGP next year with Honda already being below expectations. After more than a month of rest and relaxation due to the MotoGP summer break, the Japanese rider is confident that the manufacturer will have some news to bring.
The Japanese rider is adamant on his intention to fight for podiums and not 10th place in 2023 while subsequently leading the Honda project with Honda’s golden boy Marc Marquez currently out and recovering. When Marc Returns back to racing in the premier class with Repsol Honda, Nakagami is anxious to prove his worth against other riders such as Joan Mir who could possibly replace Pol Espargaro.
