Repsol Honda MotoGP rider Marc Marquez had to forcibly sit out of the 2022 MotoGP season due to a fourth operation being done on his right arm. The Spaniard had an accident during the Jerez MotoGP round back in 2020 and broke his arm.  It has been a series of operations and recovery phases since with this one currently being the last before the rider can get back to full mobility.

The Honda rider took to his socials to show everyone the progress that he has made so far. In it, he has posted images in which he can be seen swimming which shows the amount of progress that has been happening behind doors. A few weeks back, the Spanish rider needed support for his hand but that isn’t the case now. At this rate, Marc Marquez will be able to hit the track for training sooner than previously expected.

This is Marc Marquez’s 9th week since he had been on the operation table. The rider confirmed that there has been an increase in his exercise routine. Marc is  also able to exercise other muscles and present different tensions in the arm which is a good thing on his path towards full recovery.

Marc Marquez’s improvements have been slow and steady but that is gradual which is the main objective of the recovery process. It is still uncertain as to when the Spanish legend will return back to racing in the premier class of motorsport on two wheels. Marc Marquez will continue to be followed closely and will assess the state of his recovery phase by phase. Do you think Marc Marquez will return to MotoGP?
