Marc Marquez

Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez became one of us this weekend as he had had to switch from being the racer to a spectator until he recovers fully. The Spanish rider posted a photo of himself fully relaxed and watching the 2022 British Grand Prix. After the Qualifying session of the 2022 Italian Grand Prix, the Honda rider announced that he will be sitting out the 2022 MotoGP season due to a 4th operation being done on his right hand.

The operation went well and now it was time for the recovery phase of the rider to start. A while back, Marc Marquez had told the media that he was fit enough to start with his physio sessions too. This is great progress for the Spanish rider. Till Marc is able to completely heal, he will be on the sidelines rooting for Honda and his brother Alex Marquez. He has been an avid follower of the sport even when he is on the sidelines. This shows that Marc Marquez is a diehard MotoGP fan just like all of us.

Marc Marquez, like all of us, got to enjoy a very tasteful race. Ducati factory rider Pecco Bagnaia managed to hold off the late charge from front row starter Maverick Vinales. He further went on to win the 2022 Monster Energy British Grand Prix after Johann Zarco who started on pole position crashed out from the lead.

Marc Marquez aims to get back to racing in the premier class by next year with Repsol Honda. It is a very good possibility that this might happen as the rider is showing great progress during his recovery phase. Apart from that, the Spaniard is hungrier than ever to get back on the bike.
