“I am not the one who has to set the time for him to reappear,” Marc Marquez’s Track Engineer Santi Hernandez admits that he does not know when the Repsol Honda rider will return

Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez has failed to finish a full MotoGP season since 2019 when he won his 6th premier class title. After his winning season, a series of accidents have led to multiple complications forcing him to not perform at his topmost level. His first accident was the one that happened in Jerez during the 2020 season. Marc’s riding hasn’t been the same since then. The # 93 driver has not set any date for his return to the sport although Honda thinks that the Spaniard will be able to return by the end of this season.
Marc Marquez’s track engineer Santi Hernandez was asked by the media whether he knew about the exact date of the multiple world champion’s return and this is what he had to say.

“I really don’t know when he’s going to reappear” : Santi Hernandes on Marc Marquez’s return
I don’t know, and it’s not for me to talk about when he’s going to come back, I really don’t know when he’s going to reappear. The only thing I hope is that he comes back, and when he does that he is recovered. The most important thing is that he can go back to riding as he has been doing until now , that he can go back to doing what he likes the most, which is riding a bike, that he can enjoy it again because with the injury he has had he wasn’t enjoying it. For me, that’s the most important thing.“
“When he comes back here we will be waiting for him, I am not the one who has to set the time for him to reappear,’ he said.
Even the Spaniard is ever ready to recover and hit the track as soon as possible. When do you think Marc Marquez will announce his return to MotoGP?
