With the MotoGP break going on, Johann Zarco is pretty happy with where he is. Being in the top 3 after half a season, it will be important for the French rider to finish the season on a high. Even though he’s in Pramac Ducati which is a satellite team, he is currently the best placed Ducati rider in the championship standings and in serious contention of the MotoGP championship. Although the Pramac Ducati rider still considers himself to not be at his best possible level.
The French Rider is yet to win a race in his career. It makes it ever more surprising that Johann Zarco is third in the championship without a win. Everyone in the top 5 in the championship standings have won at least one race in this season alone.

“I still haven’t felt that I’ve done my best on this bike” : Johann Zarco
“Something is missing because I haven’t won yet and this will be an important step. I still have to figure out how to get the most out of Ducati. Seeing that I’m third in the championship before the break gives me a lot of motivation, but I still haven’t felt that I’ve done my best on this bike” he said.
“We are in a good position and that is good. I hope to be stronger in the second part of the championship,” he continued.
The MotoGP Summer break will end and the racing will resume in the month of August. Silverstone will be the first GP to kick off the start of the second half of the season Johann Zarco will be adamant to pick up where he left off and perform even better in the remainder of the season.
