On this week’s Raw, fans were heartbroken after Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vented their frustrations at each other. The New Day members have lost faith in each other, ahead of their ten-year anniversary no less. With the future looking uncertain for the faction, fans have speculated, or rather clamored, for the return of a certain former WWE Champion. And well, the company has plans for the upcoming celebrations.
According to WrestleVotes, multiple pitches have been made for Big E to appear during the ten-year anniversary on next week’s Raw. If this idea materializes, this would mark his first appearance on WWE television in almost two years. The last time fans saw Big E on live programming was on the March 11, 2022 edition of SmackDown. During a match, the beloved star suffered a life-threatening injury due to a botched belly-to-belly suplex by Ridge Holland.
Since then, fans have awaited the in-ring return of the former Intercontinental Champion. However, Big E has yet to provide a positive update on that front. Although he might not be medically cleared to wrestle yet, Big E could return to help spread the positivity with his friends that has been sorely missed in the past few months. After all, it wouldn’t be a New Day celebration without the 38-year-old star.
Amidst the speculation, we’re told multiple ideas have been presented for a Big E appearance this Monday on RAW to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of The New Day. We’ll see what WWE has in store for the group as a whole as we approach Monday.

Speaking of his teammates, Kingston and Woods have struggled to remain on the same page. In addition to constant arguments, they have failed to regain their position in the tag team division. Furthermore, their misery continued on this week’s Raw when they lost to Alpha Academy in a minute. What followed afterward was a tense segment.
The New Day segment on Raw left fans in shock ahead of ten-year anniversary
As soon as The New Day lost on Raw, the camera panned to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods continuing their months-long argument. This escalated backstage, where they vented their issues with each other, saying some harsh remarks in the process.
Kingston claimed that the reason Woods has never won a singles title in his career was because he wasn’t “good enough.” In response, Woods asserted that without his help, KofiMania wouldn’t have happened. Moreover, he lashed out at Kingston for losing the WWE Title in six seconds to Brock Lesnar.
Kingston then told Woods he would see him next week before angrily storming off out of frame. The intense segment received praise from the WWE Universe. More importantly, it set the stage for what promises to be an emotional anniversary on next week’s Raw.
