The finale of the much awaited and celebrated IPL season happened at the Dubai International Stadium, UAE. Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 2020 IPL final on Tuesday. They chased the score of 157 in just 18.4 overs, winning the match by 5 wickets. Now, Mumbai Indians has come up with a special surprise to celebrate their 5th victory.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the 2020 IPL edition was postponed and then shifted to UAE. All the matches happened without an audience. Although MI fans all over the country couldn’t participate in the victory celebrations, they were certainly rejoiced by the team’s record-extending 5th IPL victory.

Mumbai Indians is celebrating their 5th IPL title in a special way. The MI’s social media handle recently shared a post saying, “Search Mumbai Indians on @Google for a special surprise,“
The surprise is indeed special. When one searches for the team on Google, celebratory firecrackers are seen bursting on the screen. The same happens if one searches to know about the IPL 2020 Final.
MI had earlier called for a safe celebration. They had released the theme of their campaign as ‘One Family‘. The campaign highlighted that fans are an essential part of the franchise.
It focused on how the emotions would be undeterred and the season would be no different. The celebrations would be just as high but would be done responsibly.
Hence the surprise is very special, especially in times where the fans are being asked to celebrate while maintaining social distancing. And the fans are loving it.
