The group consisted of members such as MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander, led by Bobby Lashley. However, it was disbanded obnoxiously and never reunited again.

Recently, the mouthpiece of the faction, MVP, talked about how Triple H declined the idea of reuniting the Hurt Business in WWE. He answered the question arising about the faction in the comment section of an Instagram post. The former United States Champion went on to reveal that The Game always had the opportunity to bring back the faction. However, he was always uninterested.

Moreover, fans even claimed that the King of Kings is being racist in his current regime. The former Hurt Business member looked to be sharing a nod with those fans, implicitly pointing out a real-life beef with the CCO of WWE. Moreover, it also surfaced on the internet that Hunter even gave the gimmick of the Hurt Business to the Bloodline.

The faction made a good impact on WWE programming from 2020 to 2021. However, it slowly came to an end as every member of the crew decided to go on their own path, and Shelton Benjamin even made it out of WWE in the years thereafter.

Batista commented on this post, saying it also colors him in confusion about how WWE can mess up a group like the Hurt Business. Moreover, with the reaction of the Animal, it clearly felt like even he was disappointed over the decision of WWE to disband the stable for good.
