Former WWE star MVP has been making shocking revelations over the past few months or so. He has criticized the management, particularly Triple H, for not supporting him how he wanted. Recently, Porter called out Hunter once again, this time for not utilizing a 7’3″ Superstar to his full potential.
The name in question is Omos, who last wrestled in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal just before WrestleMania XL. During the K & S WrestleFest virtual signing event, MVP discussed how Triple H missed a chance to “make money” with The Nigerian Giant. He even indirectly called Hunter an idiot for not giving Omos proper opportunities to showcase his capabilities.
MVP, who turned on Bobby Lashley, formed an alliance with the 416-pound wrestler shortly after WrestleMania 38. They began a feud with The Almighty and even secured a victory against him at WrestleMania Backlash. However, his biggest career moment came when he faced Brock Lesnar one-on-one at WrestleMania 39.
Although he lost the match, both heavyweights put on a stellar bout. Omos and MVP’s partnership ended after the latter was released from WWE a few months ago. Currently, it seems that WWE doesn’t have any plans for the former Tag Team Champion, and only time will tell what the future holds for him.
Fans reacted to MVP’s comment on WWE’s failure to utilize Omos as a big star
MVP faced harsh criticism after taking multiple shots at the Stamford-based company following his release. Some fans disagreed with his statement, arguing that Omos was never any good. Other fans supported MVP and admitted that The Hurt Business should have been reunited.
One fan stated that Omos failed to impress the audience and that Braun Strowman was better than him. Another fan mocked the former United States Champion for continually criticizing WWE after his release. Some fans even compared Omos to former WWE star The Great Khali. Here are some of the top reactions from fans:
One user criticized MVP, stating that as Omos’ manager, it was his job to get him over with the fans. Another user agreed with the veteran, saying that WWE ruined Omos’ character and should have used him more strategically. Other fans even advised the 50-year-old star to stop talking about WWE and focus on his wrestling.
