- Myles Garrett set a new single-season sack record and won his second Defensive Player of the Year award.
- Chloe Kim competed for her third consecutive gold medal at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics but finished with a silver.
- Garrett supported Kim by photographing her during the competition and was playfully scolded by her for not applying sunscreen.
Myles Garrett is having quite a time in his life as he wrapped up his best season with the Cleveland Browns, and also started a relationship with Winter Olympics star Chloe Kim.
It is not unusual for an athlete to win in both areas, but the 30-year-old managed to etch his name in the NFL history books by setting a new single-season sack record. That led to his second Defensive Player of the Year award, and the Browns’ pass rusher has established himself as one of the best to ever play the sport.
Even though he now wants to set his sights on an even bigger goal, the Texas A&M native is now out of the country to cheer on someone who is also one of the best in their respective sport. That happens to be US snowboarding superstar Chloe Kim, who was participating at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics with her sights set on a third consecutive gold medal in the halfpipe event.
However, she fell short, as South Korea’s sixth-seeded Choi Ga-on used her final run to garner 2.25 points more than the No. 1-ranked American.
Even though she missed out on creating history, the latter was the first to congratulate the gold medalist, and then later was all smiles when greeted by Myles Garrett, who was wearing a custom jacket with her face on it.

It seems having her better half with her was enough to possibly make her believe that she has won in life. Despite missing out on gold, there will be no doubt that the 25-year-old is a snowboarding legend.
Myles Garrett followed in his father’s footsteps to help Chloe Kim capture greatness
After winning his second Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett mentioned to fellow pass rusher and close friend Micah Parsons how he was disappointed not to be mentioned even once in the regular-season MVP race.

He has taken it up as a challenge, as any ultra-competitive athlete would do. However, he will only be able to start working on it when OTAs start a few months later. Right now, he was about to see his girlfriend make history for herself.
For this purpose, the superstar defensive end took along cameras to capture Chloe Kim performing at her best. Pictures from Milan Cortina confirmed that the Browns star did indeed follow in his father’s footsteps.
The latter was seen at Paycor Stadium with a camera and a host of lenses in a large bag, knowing his NFL superstar son was about to create league history.

Garrett did the same, as he took out his camera and was seen clicking away as his girlfriend performed her best tricks in the halfpipe event.
Chloe Kim scolds Myles Garrett
Even though Myles Garrett was brought up in Texas, his time with the Cleveland Browns has given him enough experience playing and walking around in the cold.
At Milan Cortina, the temperatures were cold enough to keep the snow intact for the competitors to perform at their best. However, in between her runs, Chloe Kim noticed something that she decided to share with the public.
Me scolding him for not bringing the sunscreen I bought him.
Kim wrote on IG
This was the now three-time Olympic medalist going after her boyfriend for not applying sunscreen in that weather. After all, his face had turned white in that cold.

Maybe Garrett thought the conditions were not that different from what he experienced playing in Ohio. However, it seems he forgot that in his attempts to sack a quarterback, he generally perspires a lot. The body temperature generally stops his face from becoming white.
