In Short
  • Sean O'Malley criticized streamer N3on for collaborating with his upcoming UFC opponent Aiemann Zahabi.
  • N3on expressed shock at O'Malley's accusations, insisting he had informed Zahabi of their friendship.
  • Aiemann Zahabi revealed on stream that he has not yet received a contract for his fight against O'Malley.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley is quite the prominent figure in streaming circles. As such, ‘Suga’ has collaborated with several popular creators like Adin Ross and The MMA Guru. But recently, O’Malley found himself at odds with N3on, one of his streamer buddies, after the latter hung out with Aiemann Zahabi on his stream.

Sean O’Malley is scheduled to fight Aiemann Zahabi at the UFC Freedom 250 card in June at the White House. With the card a little over a month away, both fighters are in training camp, preparing for each other. As such, ‘Suga’ took issue with his friend N3on having Zahabi on his recent stream.

N3on was in a car with Nina Drama doing a stream when he received a voice note from the former bantamweight champion. In it, O’Malley accused the content creator of being a spy and even called him a rat. N3on was shocked by the sequence of events.

I wouldn’t answer my call either, buddy. Hanging out with the enemy. Flying into enemy territory. You were a spy the whole time, you little rat. I knew it. I knew it. Shame on you.

Sean O’Malley to N3on in a voice note

N3on was flabbergasted by the voice note. He immediately called O’Malley and explained that he had told Zahabi multiple times that he was friends with the former champion. The content creator then told the American bantamweight that he wanted his fight at the White House against Zahabi to end in a draw. ‘Suga’ responded by labelling it a “horrible thing” to say to him.

Sean O’Malley was then asked if he and N3on were still friends. The UFC superstar told the streamer that he needed to “sleep on it and decide.” With N3on left in complete shock, Nina Drama piped up saying this is why she always remains neutral.

Nina Drama has several collaborations with UFC fighters, including Arman Tsarukyan. She was even blamed for him pulling out of UFC 311.

Being so well-versed with fighters means she has insights into how they think, something that N3on could have used before inviting O’Malley’s “enemy” to his stream. However, N3on’s stream with Aiemann Zahabi led to quite a telling revelation.

No contract for Sean O’Malley fight yet, says Aiemann Zahabi

The UFC announced the White House card over a month ago at UFC 326, to mixed reactions from fans. The fight between Sean O’Malley and Aiemann Zahabi was a part of this announcement. However, it seems things are not set in stone for Zahabi as far as contracts go.

While on stream with N3on, Zahabi revealed that despite the fight’s announcement, he had not received a contract yet. The Canadian bantamweight star explained the process of how fighters agree to be in fights and why he and the UFC have not yet put pen to paper for this particular fight.

How it works with the UFC is you send them a text to confirm, right away, they send you a confirmation that they received your message, and within 24 hours, I get a fight contract, it’s signed, it’s done, it’s sealed. This time? I’ve got nothing, I still don’t have a contract… I think it’s because they want to keep everything leak-proof. They don’t want anyone to leak it to the media or whatever, so they kept everything hush-hush.

Aiemann Zahabi on not having a contract yet for the Sean O’Malley fight

Many fighters were touted as Sean O’Malley’s next opponent after he beat Song Yadong at UFC 324. Some fans suggested a rematch with Petr Yan for the bantamweight championship. Meanwhile, others believed Cory Sandhagen would be next, including the ‘Sandman’ himself.

Sandhagen then accused ‘Suga’ of ducking him after the White House card’s announcement. With such buzz over O’Malley’s future back then, it’s understandable why the UFC would attempt to limit leaks.

That said, N3on was left gob smacked by this revelation from Zahabi. However, the bantamweight eventually reassured the controversial streamer. He told him that the UFC’s word was bond and that the fight was still on. Nonetheless, it is odd that the Canadian hasn’t signed a contract for a fight that is just over a month away.

Regardless, all that matters for fans is that the fight actually happens when all is said and done. This upcoming fight between Zahabi and O’Malley will be critical in how the bantamweight title picture unfolds. With Petr Yan’s next fight almost certainly being a trilogy against Merab Dvalishvili, an impressive showing for either Zahabi or ‘Suga’ could put them next in line.
