Jade Cargill was brutally attacked this week on SmackDown. It was quite a horrifying sight to witness, as The Storm was smashed on the windshield of a car, and she was subsequently rushed to a local medical facility. However, ever since SmackDown, several members of the WWE Universe have been accusing Naomi of being the person behind Cargill’s cold-blooded ambush.

Taking it to X, the former Women’s Champion denied any involvement in the attack on Jade Cargill, stating she had no reason to harm her. She emphasized that she would never betray someone she considers a sister. Naomi also demanded an apology from those accusing her of being behind the attack.

The attack on Cargill became the reason behind Bianca Belair‘s exit from the Women’s United States Championship tournament. Also, WWE has removed Jade Cargill from the next round of the tournament scheduled for next week. Additionally, her position in the Women’s WarGames Match is in jeopardy following her indefinite absence.

As a result, WWE has ruled out The Storm indefinitely from the action. Despite the circumstances, it will be intriguing to see how this angle unfolds from here on SmackDown.

According to Fightful, Cargill was legitimately injured a few days ago. Therefore, WWE planned this angle on SmackDown to cover up her potential break for the recovery. Although the nature of the injury remains uncertain, there is no confirmation yet regarding her status.

Furthermore, the environment of the WarGames structure could have been critical for the 32-year-old. If the injury is not serious, Cargill could return in time for the Royal Rumble. She is expected to face Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 41. Therefore, an injury at this point could be devastating for both her and the company.
