Naomi Osaka, who has been on a comeback run this year, seems just as popular now as in her prime, bagging new endorsement deals often. This time, she can be seen in the marketing campaigns of ‘Beats By Dre’ as an ambassador, flaunting their newly released pair of headphones.

With the brand being well known for its bright and recognizable designs coming in a variety of colors, it comes as no surprise that they have a color called ‘cloud pink’, which Osaka can be seen wearing and promoting on her posts.

Deals with huge brands are nothing new for the Japanese-American tennis star, who has made the list of the top ten highest-earning tennis players for many years now, even when she did not play for two whole seasons.

Fans were elated by the new collaboration and heaped praise onto her for the eye-catching photos she posted for the campaign.

Some even expressed their excitement about having bought their own pairs of the advertised headphones and their favorite tennis player endorsing them.

Despite all the positive responses, there were some negative ones as well, as per usual on social media. Some netizens criticized Osaka for taking brand deals more seriously than tennis.

A deal that made Roger Federer one of the highest-paid athletes ever!

Roger Federer is arguably the most recognizable personality in tennis, with millions of people who don’t watch the sport knowing his name. It is this popularity that made him the highest-earning tennis player in history.

Despite ranking third when it comes to overall prize money won through tournaments, Federer is worth more than Nadal and Djokovic combined due to his endorsement deals. For a major part of his career, Federer was an ambassador for Nike, always seen endorsing their outfits and leaving an impression on the court with some iconic kits. Despite this, he left the brand in 2018, after 24 years, to take a deal with the Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo.

This deal alone almost made him a billionaire, as the ten-year contract earned him a paycheck of about $300 million, which in itself is more than what any other top player was worth at the time. He continued to endorse Nike shoes for about another year before investing in Swiss sports brand ‘On’ and partnering with them on a line of shoes that were named after him.
