Naomi Osaka made a cameo in the new installment of With Love, Megan, Holiday Celebration, a Netflix show where the Duchess of Sussex shared how she makes Christmas more memorable with family and friends. Markle’s festive special will be released on December 3.

Markle shared her favorite recipes and holiday traditions with her family and friends, one of whom was Osaka. The Japanese ace in a TIME essay back in 2021 stated that Markle was one of the famous personalities who reached out to her, supporting her mental health break.

This is not the first time Osaka has collaborated with Markle. Back in 2020, Osaka appeared on Markle and Prince Harry‘s Archwell Audio podcast. The four-time Grand Slam champion there reflected on her US Open win that year.

Back to the Christmas show, the streaming giant revealed in a press release that apart from Osaka, the holiday special will have celebrity chef Tom Colicchio, restaurateur Will Guidara, and Markle’s close friends Kelly Zajfen and Lindsay Roth.

In an all-new installment of the series, With Love, Meghan, Holiday Celebration invites you to join Meghan at home in Montecito, California, as she shares how she likes to make this time with family and friends especially memorable and meaningful. Together, they deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs — and give you simple how-tos to follow at home.

Serena Williams. I don’t have to elaborate, I don’t think.

Osaka held a 3-1 head-to-head record over the tennis great, who called time on her illustrious career at the 2022 US Open. They last met in the semifinals of the 2021 Australian Open, which Osaka won before reaching the final and defeating Jennifer Brady to win her fourth Major.

This season, Osaka made her first final since the 2022 Miami Open. The 28-year-old played two finals, losing both. At the Auckland Open, an injury forced her to give the walkover to Clara Tauson, while at the Canadian Open, Victoria Mboko snatched the title.

The World No.16 ended the season with 35/15 win-loss record. Next year, Osaka won’t be starting her season at the Auckland Open; instead, she will be representing Japan at the United Cup.

Townsend, a World No.118 in singles, has yet to win a singles title. But in doubles, the World No.2 took home four titles, including the Australian Open, which she won with Katerina Siniakova.

Townsend was last seen in action at the WTA Finals, where she and Siniakova lost to the pair of Elise Mertens and Veronika Kudermetova in the semifinals. The American made a lot of headlines due to her conduct during the US Open because of her altercation with Jelena Ostapenko, and during the Asian swing, as she criticized the local cuisine of China during the Billie Jean King Cup Finals in Shenzhen.
