Naomi Osaka is ever-growing into her stardom and fame, both on and off the field. The Japanese tennis sensation is one of the most marketable athletes in the world. She was the highest-earning female athlete in 2020 and has been ranked eighth among all athletes in endorsement income in 2020.

The World No. 2 has been in a sensational form since the resumption of tennis activities, winning the 2020 US Open and 2021 Australian Open, reaching the semi-finals of the Gippsland Trophy and making it till the quarter-finals of the 2021 Miami Open, her poorest finish to a tournament since the pandemic halted the tennis activities.

Naomi is one the most sponsored Japanese in her homeland, being the face of nearly 6-7 top Japanese brands. She earned $34 Millions from endorsement in 2020. Expanding her portfolio, Osaka has signed a deal with website creator and experts, GoDaddy.

Naomi has been planning to enter into the world of entrepreneurship and believes her new deal will help her in the future endeavours. The project details are yet to be made public, but are very exciting for the 23-year old Osaka.

“The project we’re working on is something that I’ve been pursuing for a long time because it has the potential to positively impact millions of people around the world. I am so excited to bring this dream to reality, and I look forward to sharing what we’re working on with the world,” Osaka further said about the deal.

GoDaddy’s CMO, Fara Howard, welcomed Naomi calling her ‘inspirational’.

“Naomi has inspired us all with her incredible drive as we’ve watched her throughout her phenomenal tennis career,” said the CMO.

Naomi has surely got her fans hooked for her new venture and will be looking forward to see what the inspirational star is bringing for her fans this time.
