Naomi Osaka speaks about her ‘major-interests’ outside tennis

Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka is on a run to be the ‘next big thing’ in women’s tennis. Since the past few years, the former World No.1 matched her success on the tennis courts with her accomplishments outside them. She is also one of the most popular athletes in the entire sporting community.
Naomi also is the brand ambassador of several brands. In the past month, Naomi signed endorsement deals with French super-luxury brand, Louis Vuitton.
The Japanese star recently spoke about her interest for fashion and styling. She said, “My passion for style and design is something that I’ve had since I was a kid. When I was little, my sister and I used to draw on our really long road trips.”
“I’m very grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had and the chance to learn from all the people I’ve met, they’ve really inspired me and fueled my creativity over the years,” she added.

Osaka revealed that she doesn’t take things for granted and that she remains grateful for the people she’s come across over the years, who have had an influence on her tastes in fashion.
In the 2020 season, Naomi won the US Open for the second time in her career. Currently, she is in Adelaide, Australia where she is part of the ‘A Day at the Drive’ exhibition event. After that, she will travel to Melbourne to compete in the season’s first grand slam. The 2019 Australian Open champion will look to win her 4th major.
