23XI Racing driver Tyler Riddick has always showcased his massive love for sneakers and scooters during his time on and off the track. The No:45 Toyota Camry driver has even amassed a massive following of people. Reddick and his 23XI teammates have together developed a “scooter gang”, in the words of Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Ahead of the NASCAR Cup Series race in Texas, Andrew Kurland, one of the content creators of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Dirty Mo Media interviewed the drivers and fans about the scooter gangs. Hendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman was one of the drivers who spoke about his dislike of scooters and how they aren’t allowed on the track as per the rules.
It's bulls**t. On the paper it said no motorized devices, and they are riding electric scooters. It's completely bullshit.Alex Bowman said.
The No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver showcased his distaste for the entire scooter revolution that has taken place within the NASCAR communities, arugubly due to Tyler Riddick‘s influence. From what it looks like, Andrew Bowman’s thoughts on scooters on track are very similar to Dale Jr.’s.
Alex Bowman shares an insight into disappointing result at Martinsville
During the NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway, the podium positions were all filled by Hendrick Motorsports drivers. The only Hendrick Motorsport driver who finished outside the top 5 was Alex Bowman.
The No: 48 Chevy driver finished in P8 and was behind in terms of performance throughout the entire weekend. Following the race, the driver admitted that he was uncomfortable in his Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 from the beginning and just couldn’t unlock the performance he desired from it.
[I]wish we would have had a little better day with our Ally 48. The last two runs we just struggled a lot. I tightened up all day and then the racetrack got black. We got on the other side of it and got too tight. In that last restart I didn’t stand a chance. The No:14 drove through all four corners.Alex Bowman said.
Bowman also added how he wished to finish higher in the race to make the race even more special for his Hendrick Motorsport team. The American will definitely want to bounce back during the next race at Texas Motor Speedway.
