Alex Bowman labels his Daytona outing as ‘sh**ty’
Due to a cancelled qualifying session, Alex Bowman had a great shot at the race win after starting the race from the front row. Bowman crashed out on Lap 27 and couldn’t fight for the race win and suffering from a DNF. As such, the 32-year-old wasn’t too pleased with his performances at Daytona and christened it with a title.

Alex Bowman asserted that his last few hours at the Daytona circuit were extremely ‘shitty’. Bowman added that it wasn’t a good time to be him, more so because he did not want to let his team down, which he eventually did after DNFing. The 32-year-old insisted that Hendrick Motorsport worked really hard to provide him a good car with a fighting chance at the track, but he couldn’t really make use of it.
Sh**ty. It’s not a good time to be me. But, more so, because I don’t wanna let my team down. They’ve worked really hard, they’ve done a lot of good things, the situation that we are in coming here… its tough. You crash and you just have to sit and watch, its not fun for any of these guys.
Alex Bowman noted.
All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers are officially in the playoffs, with Alex Bowman being the final one in. Bowman will now have to prepare hard for the round of 16 and ensure that he puts forth the best result possible. The 2025 season has been difficult for the 32-year-old, but he can turn it around if he works hard on his form and starts scoring better in the playoffs.
