The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season so far has been impressive for Hendrick Motorsports’ 2021 Champion Kyle Larson. He has secured a dominant win at Homestead Miami and has secured a handful of consistent front row finishes. The season is set be more special for the veteran as he set to attempt The Double for the consecutive time.

Kyle Larson will drive the Prime Video sponsored Arrow Mclaren car at the Indy 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Headrick Motorsports No:5 Chevy at Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The sponsorship isn’t going to be the only joint venture of the duo as they are set to produce a documentary.

Prime Video will shoot a feature-length documentary, on Kyle Larson’s double attempt. It will be focussed on the veterans attempt to make racing history and become the first driver in the history of the sport to secure wins in both the races. The documentary will be directed by Cynthia Hill as per the reports.

Kyle’s double attempt is one of the most exciting storylines in all of sports, and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

Stacey Rosenson, Head of U.S. Sports Marketing, Prime Video said.

Further talking about the documentary, Stacey Rosenson highlighted that they are excited about showcasing the passion the racing fans have, and the intensity of Kyle Larson’s double attempt. Priem seems to believes that they can start their NASCAR broadcasting journey strong with the Kyle Larson documentary as part of it.

As we prepare to broadcast our first NASCAR Cup Series race with the Coca-Cola 600, having this kind of historic moment unfold live on Prime Video – and capturing it in a documentary film – is a truly unique opportunity. We’re looking forward to sponsoring Kyle’s effort and taking fans inside the intensity and emotion that go with it.

Kyle Larson and crew is ready for the 2025 Indy 500

The champion driver was strong in his debut IndyCar race, where he was close to finishing inside the top-10 before a pit-speeding penalty costed him significant time. Yet he scored a top-20 finish and was able to secure the rookie of the year title, amidst the rain delay drama and pressure to get back to Charlotte on time.

So, when asked about his feelings about the 2025 edition, considering how things happened last year, Larson admitted that he doesn’t wish anything to be different with the debut other than the delay. He wants to the actual experience to remain the same, but has open reservation though, as he wants to the car to be more balanced.

But I don’t think there was anything I would change on the actual experience side of it. I think there are things that now living through (running) the race and the couple weeks in Indy, I would search for just a little different balance to my car to be better for the race, but that’s really it.

Kyle Larson said.

Since everything went smoothly last season, due to their extensive preparation, he expects the same to happen this year. Larson doesn’t see the logistics of it becoming as issue for him this season.

I felt like it all went smoothly last year. I felt we prepared well for it. The logistics of it all went really well. We should be ready to go for this year.

The comments from Kyle Larson shows he is excited for the upcoming race at Indy after the debut as it gave him more hope about his chances. It will be interesting to see how the race will playout for the NASCAR champion and if he will make racing history.
