Dale Earnhardt Jr. revealed that for the first couple of years he refused dance with Amy as it is one of few things that he isn’t great at.

When me and Amy met, I refused. Like for the first couple of years, we’d be sitting somewhere where people were at a restaurant or bar or wedding or whatever, places where dancing happens.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. said via Bless Your ‘Hardt podcast.

But his better half never let him get out of the situations easily, as whenever people start dancing on different occasions where they are at, she will force him dance with her. He revealed that he always rejects saying he wont and she just told he no option but to do it. It shows how Amy is the one pulling the strings when it comes to non-racing social interaction of the Hall of Famer.

All (of) a sudden, people start dancing or Amy’s song comes on… or whatever, and she’s like ‘All right, here we go, time to dance now and I’m like, ‘The hell!’ I’m like, ‘I don’t dance.’ She’s like ‘The hell you don’t; you do now.

Chivalry has loopholes, doesn’t it?
