2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski came into the Circuit of the Americas race weekend with hopes having a solid race after the two disappointing Superspeedway races the previous two weeks. But the bad luck followed him to Austin, as he was able to secure just P15 finish, after starting on P22.
The race was physically demanding for the veteran after Brad Keselowski’s cooling suit failed during the race. It didn’t function as it should and throughout the race, he was not only fighting on the track but was also doing anything possible to keep himself composed. He was carted off to the track to the infield care center for immediate medical attention.
Appears Brad Keselowski needed medical attention post race.

Now Brad Keselowski has broken the silence about the incident and has released a statement on X. He pointed out that it was a tough day for him at COTA as things went out of control and thanked the NASCAR team for support, he received. The No:6 Ford driver also highlighted how he was able to secure P15 finish with his team support.
Yesterday was a tough one at COTA. Sometimes things happen that are out of our control, but I’m thankful for my team and the care I received at track. At the end of it all, we came home with a top 15 finish. Appreciate the support – on to Phoenix.

Chris Buescher is proud about his RFK’s performance at COTA
The No:17 Ford driver Chris Buescher shared his feeling about the solid race day he had on Sunday, with his P7 finish in a can that wasn’t competitive enough. Despite this he is proud of the team’s effort and is hopeful that he can use the momentum to secure win in the remaining races of the season.

We have been very close at all of the other road courses – we feel like we have a chance to win at the others. We need to make a couple more tweaks to our Mustang here at this place. A good showing for this new course. We stayed out of the melee, for the most part, and I am proud of everyone on this Fastenal team. They did a good job today.
Chris Buescher said.
RFK Racing needs to work on their car in the coming days to make sure their drivers have an opportunity to win races reaming in the season. It would be interesting to see how the Ford team is going to perform in the coming days.
