The last two NASCAR Cup Serie race outings has been a nightmare for RFK Racing’s Chris Buscher. At Kansas he lost the race to 2021 Champion Kyle Larson with a 0.001 second gap after an aggressive battle on the last corner. At Darlington this Sunday, he was taken out while being on the lead by Tyler Reddick with just 10 laps in the race.
The back-to-back heart breaks made the No:17 Ford Mustang driver really emotional and it event made him have a heated confrontation with Tyler Reddick soon after the race over their clash on Sunday. The only good thing that happened for him, is the win of his teammate and boss Brad Keselowski at Darlington.
The Goodyear 400 winner Keselowski in his post-race interview was asked about what advice he would give to his teammate after the heart-breaks. He urged Buescher to not to change anything and race in the same style he has been using. The 2012 Cup champion asserted that the No:17 Ford drivers’ racing style is the one that makes him good and special.
You know, Chris has his style, and it’s worked really, really well for him. I don’t think Chris needs to change a darn thing about what he does. It might not have worked out today, but there’s other days it works for him. It makes him what he is. It makes him special, it makes him good.Brad Keselowski said at Darlington.

Brad Keselowski is ok with the fact that Chris Buescher is really upset
The No:6 Ford driver while talking about Chris Buescher’s emotional state pointed out that he is okay with his driver being upset after not getting a result he deserves. He pointed out being upset when not winning is a characteristic he wants in his driver.
I thought he did a great job of putting himself in position, and to not get a result, I’m sure, it’s hard to stomach, and it should be hard to stomach. That’s what you want out of your driver. You want him to be upset when he doesn’t win.Brad Keselowski said.
RFK Racing has again crack the code for what it takes for the Ford teams to be successful in the new Mustang Dark Horse. He would be hopping that they could emulate the same performance in the coming races and help Buescher with a win soon.
