William Darrell Wallace AKA Bubba Wallace who sports the No.23 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing almost found himself winning the Folds of Honor Quiktrip 500 but it all turned upside-down in the end.

Unfortunately, having just one win coming in Talladega virtue of suspended racing due to rain delay yet but having 36 top 10s under his belt had almost scored his first victory at Atlanta but eventually ended up getting caught in a wreck alongside Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney. He later got mocked by a fan making it yet another hard day at work for him.

Bubba Wallace was almost about to have the time of his life inches away from winning the race at Atlanta this week. Little did he know, his efforts wouldn’t bare him any fruit as he crashes seconds before emerging triumphant.

As he raced on the completely reconfigured superspeedway-like track in Atlanta, he got piled up dropping him to P13 instead of P1. He also said that it was the hardest hit that he had ever experienced upon which he later gets called out by a fan who asked him not to come back which he took to Twitter and responded boldly by saying that he’ll see the ‘darfs’ in July.

“Damn. Shitty ending P1 on the hardest hit list… Shout out to the GA peeps in the infield telling me not to come back… See you in July darfs,” tweeted Bubba Wallace after the race.

Bubba Wallace finished in P13 and his much-awaited second career victory is yet to be witnessed. Will he be able to continue the momentum and go for the win next week in EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, COTA?
