The 2025 NASCAR Cup season so far has been pretty strong for Bubba Wallace, who has found a solid consistency with 23XI Racing. One of the major reasons behind his performance improvement is the change in life perspective he got after his wife Aamnda Wallace gave birth to their son Becks Hayden Wallace.
Bubba Wallace ended his short streak of disappointing runs this weekend at Nashville, bouncing back from a big early race penalty to finish P6. After the race he sat down with Corey LaJoie and Carl Edwards for the post-race shows and talked about the how having a kid changed his life. His words carried feelings of a proud and loving father.
And the biggest part, it’s incredible because I wish everybody could experience it, but having a kid changes your life. It’s super cool.
Bubba Wallace said via Prime broadcast.
Following these comments, he was asked about how Becks has motivated him to be better racer and a better person this season. He asserted that sis son is now his biggest support system and reveals how much he cherishes seeing the excited face of his son. While talking about this, Wallace got emotion, started getting teary eyed due to happiness.
That’s the biggest support system. He’s eight months, he doesn’t know what’s going on, but he’s excited to see me every time.
Bubba Wallace added.
Listening to Bubba Wallace’s words, LaJoie and Edwards, who are both fathers, also got emotional. The ex-JGR driver Edwards then put his hands on the shoulders of the 23XI driver and admitted that it’s beautiful to listen to the words. He then thanked the star racer for being a brave person though out his career and inspiring people.
Oh buddy, man, that’s beautiful to hear a father share that. Thank you for sharing that with us. You’ve been so brave with your life and your challenges, man. Thanks for inspiring all of us.
Carl Edwards said.
Bubba Wallace shares his expectations for the remainder of 2025 season
In another post-race interview, Bubba Wallace shared his expectations for the remaining races of the season. He expects the No:23 team run in the top-10 as they have done at Martinsville and asserted that he is confident in his team to deliver those results in the coming events for him.

After this back-to-back top three finishes [Homestead-Miami and Martinsville], I expect that [the Nashville performance] every week… We are confident in this team to continue to get finishes like this in a consistent manner, not the balance and back and forth that everybody’s used to for the #23. So, I’m glad… great start to June.
Bubba Wallace said.
The team, with the strong start to the month, seems pretty solid and this is the right time for them to end the winless streak that has been haunting them for more than two years. They can’t afford to miss out on playoff yet again in the 2025 season, considering how good the cars they have fielded so far.
