The NASCAR Cup Series features drivers going hard at each other, racing aggressively in the 36 cars field while driving 180mph. The series demands a lot of bravery from the athletes as they are taking risk in a situation, where one wrong move could end up in a disaster. Facing this challenge gives them an edge compared to others in most situation in life that demands bravery.
But even the top tier NASCAR racers struggle, when it is time to ask their life to partner the big question, asking their hands in marriage. Recently NBC released a video on social media that shows some of the star NASCAR driver recalling hilarious moments from the day the proposed to their girlfriends. 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace had a hilarious story.

remember talking to our sister. Before it happened, she was excited, but she’s like, ‘Hey, just make sure you say something. Don’t just… Freeze and say, Will you marry me.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah, that’s the easy part, all right?’
Bubba Wallace said via NBC.
Despite the warning from Amanda Carter’s sister, Wallace kept a brave face and confidently moved on with his plans. But just like she warned he froze at the moment, like a terrified deer that caught in front of the headlights. He was able to ask the question, and they got married in 2023, now are parents to a son.
I just sat there and did the exact opposite of what her sister said and I froze and I didn’t say a word. I didn’t ask if she would marry me. But I just had terrified, deer and headlights look.

Austin Dillon also had a hilarious moment while preposing his wife
For Richard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon, his special moment with Whitney Ward was almost ruined due to a hiccup at the airport. When they were on the way to the proposal venue, his bad got checked by the security and then ring was in the open. Fortunately, it didn’t affect the special day much.
My bag got checked, going through security and the ring was in there.

The comment from the drivers shows the work they put in to make their moments special and how much they loved their significant other. The slip up also shows at the end of the day they are human and makes mistake, but those mistakes is what that made those instances really special.
