Bubba Wallace set to return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series race next week in Austin

NASCAR has announced an official 43 car entry list for the Pit Boss 250 which will be hosted in Circuits of the Americas, Austin, Texas. Out of the 43 cars running for qualification, only 38 will get into the final race which will take place on 26 March, Saturday.

Bubba Wallace will join Joe Gibbs Racing and take over the No. 18 entry alongside Miguel Paludo who will drive the No. 88 JR Motorsports machine in COTA. Ross Chastain will replace Kyle Weatherman DGM Racing for DGM racing alongside Preston Pardus who will replace Mason Massey.

Other significant entries include Will Rodgers who will join RSS Racing as he attempts to qualify for his first race of the season and  Cole Custer will return to the No. 07 entry for SS GreenLight Racing following his victorious run in Auto Club, Fontana.

Noah Gragson leads the pack with 223 championship points to the name virtue of his continuous run of top 3 finishes which was only got broken last weekend in Atlanta, with a single win in his name. Atlanta race winner Ty Gibbs is hot on Gragson’s heels with 204 points thanks to his two wins. AJ Allmendinger complete the top 3 as he tied up with Ty Gibbs in points scored but is yet to secure a win. Caesar Bacarella is at the bottom of the pack with only 1 point to his name.

The Xfinity Series will hit the Circuits of the Americas, Austin for Pit Boss 250 where Ty Gibbs will be hoping to minimize his point gap between Noah Gragson whereas Gragson will be doing the opposite. AJ Allmendinger will be hoping to secure his first win of 2022.
