AM Racing announced at the start of this week that Hailie Deegan and the team has parted ways. The team signed the female racing talent at the start of 2024 season with the hopes giving her the opportunity establish herself in the second division and move on from the underwhelming years in the Truck Series.

But unfortunately, lady luck wasn’t on her side and Hailie Deegan had to end her stint with the No:15 Ford team early. While talking about the controversies surrounding the decision Freddie Kraft, the spotter of Bubba Wallace, came in defense of Deegan pointed out. He asserted that their struggles are mostly due to a lack of empierced driver alongside the young racer.

You don't know if your cars have speed if your driver doesn't have any experience at the track you're going to. So, if obviously money is a big factor in this, but if there was a way to have Brett and Hailie there, I think it would have only benefited Hailie. But unfortunately, it wasn't the case.
Freddie Kraft said via DBC podcast.

With the decision to let Brett Moffitt go put in experienced Deegan be the only source of feedback has put the team is a tough place according to Freddie Kraft. He is hoping that the team would be able to bounce back as they have a good crew to do so.

And now they're going to have to go and take a route of putting drivers in here to try to evaluate where their programs really at. And there's good people over there, like I said. And hopefully they get it sorted out.

Freddie Kraft expects Hailie Deegan land on her feet

Though it is one of the biggest upsets of Deegan’s career it surely won’t be the end of it. Kraft expects her to land on her feet as she is a talented driver. He also asserted the poor run of the No:15 team can’t be blamed on Deegan.

Hailie lands on her feet somewhere. I'm sure she will. She's a talented race car driver. This is not on Hailie either.
Freddie Kraft said.

AM Racing and Deegan are in for one of the most significant times of their NASCAR stints. The decision they make now can either get them a better future or a worst one. It would be intrusting to see how it would playout in the coming months.
