The NASCAR community was in shock when it was announced last week that RFK Racing owner driver Brad Keselowski will leave the team at the end of the season. His five-year driver contract with the team is coming to the end at the end of the year, and while 2012 champion wanted to continue racing, the team wanted him to take over the competition director role.
Many drivers talked about the exit ahead of the Las Vegas race weekend including Spire Motorsports’ Carson Hocevar. The No:77 Chevy driver has the most on-brand response, as he responded playing the nonchalant character he is known for. He asserted he didn’t have any idea about the exit and doesn’t really care about it much.
I have no idea. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really give a ***.
Carson Hocevar said ahead of Las Vegas race.
Later in the same conversation when asked about where he hopes to see the former champion racing next year, he admitted that it isn’t something that really concerns him at the moment. There are some rumors that suggests Brad Keselowski will race in the Truck Series next season with Spire Motorsports, becoming Carson Hocevar’s teammate.
You know, obviously, hopefully he lands somewhere, but I don’t really care. I don’t put any emphasis on it.

Brad Keselowski is confident that he can secure a seat for 2027
Ahead of the Las Vegas race week, Brad Keselowski talked about his future and asserted that he had no doubt that he will be racing next year in the first event of the season at Daytona. He is 100% confident that he will have a seat, but he knows there will some tough challenge ahead to make it happen.

When I’m in a vehicle in Daytona, I’ll be confident of that. But right now, I think there’s enough interest where– I’m not saying I’m not sweating it. That’s not true.
Brad Keselowski said.
Furthermore, the veteran pointed out that there are enough people interested in him and what he can offer as an experienced racer. But finding the right balance would be the most challenging decision.
There’s things to work through. There’s enough interest where I’m confident that I’ll be somewhere next year.
Brad Keselowski added.
The comments from the veteran are on point and shows how uncurtain and unforgiving the sport can be, even for a future Hall of Famer. It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the star driver in the coming days.
