The 2024 NASCAR season has been a year disappointment for Chandler Smith, despite having a successful season in the Xfinity series. He had strong season with Joe Gibbs Racing, winning two races and securing 17 top-5’s. But Smith wasn’t able convert this consistency into a championship triumph.
Chandler Smith, after understanding he has no future at JGR, worked hard to secure a seat for the 2025 season. His initial moves ended in disappointment, and this resulted in him contemplating quitting racing and join his father in construction business. But now he will have his shot at redemption in the third tier of NASCAR.
