Chase Briscoe emerged as one of the better drivers on the grid in the 2025 season. The JGR star debuted with the team after leaving SHR following its closing down. In his very first season for Joe Gibbs Racing, he managed to snag a championship-4 entry and achieved a couple of race wins to his name. Now, the 30-year-old opens up on his newfound popularity and his feelings when being asked to give an autograph.

Chase Briscoe seemed to face some moments of uncertainty back when SHR abruptly closed down its garage in the NASCAR Cup Series. Briscoe then found a golden opportunity at JGR, replacing the outgoing Martin Truex Jr. Though there were doubts on the #19 driver’s chances to succeed, and sponsorships also seemed to be one of the bigger problems.

However, Chase Briscoe found no difficulties in terms of performance and clinched three impressive race wins amid a Championship-4 entry. Moreover, he kept on adding new sponsors and bringing old sponsors from SHR to JGR in 2025. As such, Briscoe is certainly among the more famous drivers in the pinnacle of stock racing. With the growing popularity, the number of people seeking his autographs has also increased multiple-fold.

Though many people hate this aspect of being popular, Chase Briscoe is all for it. He hoped that he would never lose this in his life and always have people asking for his signature. Further, Briscoe insisted that it was crazy in the first place that he had so many people coming up to him just for his autograph. Ultimately, the JGR star did not mind giving his autograph and embraced it fully without any resentment towards the fans.

I don’t know. It is something I hope I never lose. It is crazy for me that people even want to take my picture or get my autograph, So, I just embrace it.

Speaking on this, Chase Briscoe noted that he could not say no to any fans asking for his autograph. He continued that he did not like confrontation, and he himself was in the place of the people dying for someone’s autograph.

Briscoe understands that the fans might not get another opportunity to get his signature again, and hence, he decides to give it to them. Finally, the 30-year-old reckoned that he gave his sign to everyone asking, even if he wasn’t their favorite driver in the pinnacle of stock racing.

I can’t tell people no; I can’t, I see other (drivers) do it. And I don’t know how they do it. For one, I don’t like confrontation in the first place. And I was that kid — where you are just dying to get a picture or an autograph. And it might be their one opportunity, and I might not even be their favorite driver. But I am a driver

Chase Briscoe added.
