Chris Buescher came to Darington hoping for redemption after losing the Kansas Cup race last Sunday to Kyle Larson with a 0.001 second gap. He was in for another disappointment as a late race clash between him and 23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick, while fighting for the lead, ruined the day for the RFL Racing star.
With just 10 laps left in the race. Tyler Reddick who was running P2 tried to overtake the No:17 RFK Racing Ford of Chris Beuscher. He send the car deep into the corner while Buescher was racing on the outside lane, and the move resulted in the Ford making contact with the wall and having significant damage.

Brad Keselowski, Buescher’s teammate, took advantage of the situation and went on to break his 110-race winless streak. But his boss’ win wasn’t enough to cool down Beuscher as he had a animated exchange with Tyler Reddick in the pit-road. The 23XI driver was heard admitting his mistake saying “I fu**ed up” while Beuscher reminded him to race better.
We don’t have that sticker on our door right now. I don’t have that sticker on my door. This means more. I need you to be better. We’ve raced each other fine for so long.Chris Beuscher said.
Chris Buescher is pissed of with Tyler Reddick
The RFK Racing driver seemed pretty disappointed with Reddick over not just the crash but the lack of respect on the move. He is really pissed off because he has had respectful battles with Reddick multiple times in the past and added that Reddick admitting his mistakes fir the incident is worthless for him.
We’ve raced each other clean through the years, try to be respectful about it and we get used up. It’s just something that you know is not gonna work. Just really pissed off about it right now. We had a chance to win another one. … Felt we got used up and he knows he messed up, he said it. But it doesn’t change anything for us.Chris Beuscher said.
The incident was a result of two driver going hard on each other for a win. Buescher have to wait more for his redemption run, but can now be confident as they have a great car with them at the moment. Reddick on the other hand would easily get over the incident as well.
